Right now i feel so tired, i never feel like this before, i feel like all my bones already broken up !! Balikpapaeventhough i’ve slept this morning, but this body needs more to get recover… i don’t know ??

this day i used for checking my report, e-mail etc., because we change the drilling bit due to slow of penetration rate, just 1 m/hrs and we have 200 m more to drill. Lucky me that i bring my personal laptop to play Age of Empires II… it’s exciting, really that you have to try it.

Monday I will go back to Balikapapan by boat (usually we called seatruck), it takes roughly 4 hours, 2 hours from rig thru Handil by seatruck, and then from Handil to Balikapapan by bus. I want to sleep… i feel sleepy right now

in that day i had interview session by teleconference (via phone) and we’ll get some information each other, in the other hand of course i am very nervous but that’s normal i think…., some or many people always nervous when they get an interview session, this become new step for me and my life… and God as my witness, i hope He will help me and i trust that He knows my position right now and He will help me and always beside me.

God please help me to get this new job within this interview and any other test…, I really want to get this job, this is what i want to do with my life ’cause i don’t want to be stuck in here for a long time.

God…. i come to You, knock Your door, and looking for You, finally I will get You, You will opened the door for me and You’ll find me…. I trust that 

YOGYA (KR) - Universitas Pembangunan Nasional (UPN) “Veteran” Yogyakarta kembali mengukir sejarah di bidang pendidikan. Pasalnya, empat jurusan di perguruan tinggi (PT) tersebut berhasil lolos dalam seleksi Desk Evaluation Program Hibah Kompetisi (PHK) A2 Dirjen Pendidikan Tinggi (Dikti) Depdiknas. Keempat jurusan tersebut yakni, Ilmu Komunikasi, Administrasi Bisnis, Teknik Perminyakan dan Manajemen.
Dana hibah yang disediakan PHK A2 masing-masing sebesar Rp 1,5 miliar. Dana tersebut untuk pengembangan jurusan selama tiga tahun. Saat ini, keempat jurusan itu sedang mempersiapkan tahapan berikutnya, yaitu site visit dari para penilai (reviewer) Dikti mulai 26 Agustus 2005.

Proposal yang diajukan empat jurusan tersebut berhasil lolos seleksi dari 358 proposal yang diajukan berbagai jurusan PTN/PTS seluruh Indonesia. “Keempat proposal itu memberikan penekanan program pada peningkatan efisiensi internal, kualitas suasana akademik serta proses pembelajaran. Semuanya bermuara pada peningkatan kualitas lulusan,” kata Koordinator PHK UPN “Veteran” Yogyakarta, Dr Nur Indriani, Selasa (23/8), seraya menambahkan, seluruh kegiatan PHK di UPN dikoordinir Pusat Pengembangan dan Peningkatan Aktivitas Instruksional (P3AI).

Koordinasi program hibah, merupakan salah satu kegiatan yang dikembangkan P3AI UPN untuk memberikan terobosan pendanaan bagi universitas. Namun, karena semua hibah yang disediakan bernuansa kompetisi, pihak UPN, jelas Ketua P3AI, Ardito Bhinadi MSi, gencar mempersiapkan penyusunan proposal, workshop, seleksi dan visitasi internal sampai monitoring dan evaluasi.

Semangat untuk bersaing dan meningkatkan atmosfir akademik, lanjut Ardito, kini juga semakin terasa di UPN. Salah satu indikatornya adalah semakin banyaknya jurusan yang ambil bagian dalam program PHK. (Obi)-k

When we are drilling, if we want to check the mud volume in borehole, we have to perform flow-check that spend around 15 minutes each time. This mean if we perform flow-check for 5 times, we lost 1.15 hours !!! just for flow check.

From flow-check, we can see that we have losing or gain of mud, if we’re losing of mud, this called by ‘Mud Loss’ so there is a big fracture or loose lithology (loose sandstone) downhole there, if we get gain, it means the mud return to the surface higher than it should be, so there is something add thru the mud, this can be from formation (can be cutting, gas, or oil).

Usually this flow check using a small pit volume, around 10 cubic meter and called by ‘Trip Tank’, this is very small volume so if there is something happend in the downhole that related with the mud, this tool has very important role in drilling.

To anticipate this, an idea to done the flow check each time every pipe connection, while start to connect the pipe, the mud flow to mud pit directly closed and had to change to trip tank, even this connection may be just take around 3-5 minutes, but for me it’s enough to see the level of mud in the borehole.

So why we have to spend more times just doing flow check…??? it’s just wasting money for rig cost, of course this ‘flow-check while pipe connection’ should be procced in exploration well and/or in Development well, especially in Hidrocarbon Zone.

Apa yang dikerjakan oleh Sdr Anton sudah bagus memulai dari core >> deposition env. >> log >> stratigraphy >> lateral distribution >> combine w/ structure map >> OOIP >> identify opportunity (pressure & production data). Kerjaan diatas memang biasa dilakukan oleh seorang geologist yang bekerja di Development Team. Kalau mo lebih detail lagi bisa ditambahkan petrography, SEM dan XRD guna mengetahui formation damage, biasanya untuk shalysand reservoir banyak mengandung illite dan smectite dan sangat potential terjadinya kerusakan formasi. LRLC siapa takut, kebetulan saya memulai mengotak atik reservoir macam ini sejak tahun 1992 hingga sekarang masih bergelut dengan reservoir macam ini. Untuk di Central Sumatra LRLC biasa didapatkan di Telisa FM & Bekasap FM bagian atas, dimana reservoir tersebut diendapkan dalam kondisi transgresi dan banyak mengandung glauconite sehingga core yang didapatkan sering berwarna hijau botol. Core semacam ini dijumpai didaerah sdr Jordi & Dicky Trisnadi bekerja yaitu sekitar Balam Trough sedangkan di South Aman Trough banyak dijumpai fosil sehingga mirip Globigerina Sandstone, tentunya proses diagenesa berbeda antara tempat yang satu dengan yang lainnya. Kebetulan reservoir LRLC yang baru-baru saja saya evaluasi dan kita coba bor secara Horizontal dan hasil/produksinya sangat memuaskan (4 kali lipat dari sumur vertikal) hingga kini sudah 2 sumur yang dibor dan kita akan kontinu dengan sumur-sumur berikutnya hingga depleted. Sebagai informasi Sdr Dicky dan Jordi saat ini sedang gencar-gencarnya mencari “mengevaluasi deep reservoir” dan beberapa yang sudah dibor hasilnya sangat memuaskan ……………. mantap bo’. August 24 I received an e-mail in my account, i am very surprised with this e-mail, because it comes from company that they want to get an interview session with me (i am sorry i can’t tell you what company it is).

In the other hand i am very happy (of course, right..??) but in the another had i have a bad situation right now, trully is right now i am in offshore and we have drilling in gas zone phase and i have to supervise until finish, but there was 250m more to drill… oh mannn……

So I called my friend in the office today (this morning) to replace me for a couple days, but i didn’t tell him about this situation, my reason just ‘family bussiness’… i don’t want to spread out this news to them before i get that job…

I hope God will help me to thru this problem out from my life, and i can join with the new company… “God Help Me…”

This is my second journey for my own blog, at the first time i used www.blogspot.com as my blog server, later i found a lot of trouble and too much un-descriptable in that server… and than i tried to look for if ay other blog server that more simple in the operation and fast !!!

FAST…!! this is very important, especially for me. If I want anything in my life I want it as fast as possible, somebody said INSTANT..?? no, instant has quite different with fast…

Instant in my mind means something that happened in a very short time and it doesn’t need fast learning and high effort, because acctually it doesn’t have basic in their movement, this is different with fast… fast means very short movement… just that, this can be happened if you have a good basic, you have high effort, and any other things…

Back to my first story…., then i found very good server (until right now, that i used for my university weblog class… see: www.pangea99.tk) which is very simple, fast, and easy in their operation and maintenance… try this www.blog.com, really this blog become my best choice (until now… hehehe)
